Boyce Industries, formerly of Melrose Park in the Chicago area, has been acquired by members of A.E.D. Metal Products of Indianapolis, IN and McKinney Corporation of Lafayette, IN.

Boyce is a performance-oriented company offering custom and contract tube bending to motorsports and commercial customers. For more than 50 years, Boyce has supplied high quality products and services to the racing world, from racecar chassis design and fabrication through the manufacture of competition proven racing products.

Capabilities

Boyce is equipped to handle jobs from prototype through production, supplying both simple bends and completely formed and welded assemblies.

The production shop inventories more than 1,000 bend die combinations and has the capacity to mandrel bend steel, stainless, aluminum, and brass:

• Round tube: 1/2" OD through 5" OD
• Square and rectangular tube: 1" through 4"

Secondary operations include cutting, expanding and reducing, notching, drilling, and custom welding.

What changes

The Boyce Industries brand name will be retained and services will continue as they have in the past. Boyce will continue to specialize in custom and contract tube bending, tube reshaping, and tube end finishing.

Both A.E.D. and McKinney are recognized leaders in the performance, automotive, aviation, and aerospace industries, and both are certified to ISO 9001:2015. Those quality practices will be implemented at Boyce Industries.
