Strenx® 100 XF Sheet Specifications

Strenx sheet 1 of 1

Strenx® 100 XF is a thermomechanically rolled steel, made for cold forming, with a minimum yield strength of 100 ksi (100,000 psi). Strenx® 100 XF is produced by SSAB the producers of Docol® Tube R8.

Strenx® 100 XF has good welding, cold forming and cutting performance, offering a great substitute for 4130 Chrome Moly Sheets. Strenx® 100 XF being both strong and formable, eliminates the need for annealed or normalized conditions. Strenx® 100 XF is a cold forming steel not suited for heat treatments. Heat treating may result in the material losing its guaranteed mechanical properties.
